My Manifesto

I will work hard, because that's the common denominator among people who are doing interesting things that matter. They work really really hard. Maybe there are limits to my abilities, but I don't know them yet because I haven't actually worked that hard. But the other part of my manifesto is that I love God so much and I want to stop sinning and living ungratefully and in fear. I want to live a life of love for God. Really really. Nothing else matters but that. I could succeed or fail, I just want to know God.

The first thing to go is internet. From now, through Sunday, I will turn the internet off when I first open my computer. I will then only use it to check email, do specific work tasks, read the news, or do other specific necesary tasks like Bible study research or looking for directions. There are other valuable things I can do on the internet, not all my time on it is wasted. I'm just not going to do those things this week.

The other thing is that I'm going to excersize on Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat. All 4 of those days I'm going to run a short distance and then do abs/yoga/stretching.

That's it. Small goals. I just want to live free and in love with Jesus. The life I'm living these last couple months has been a prison. I just want to trust my loving God instead.

Jesus, forgive me for my past and as the consequences of my past continue to play out, give me the strength to accept your mercy and forgiveness and to know that those things aren't who I am.

Instead of trying to know what you're doing, be honest. But also be confident.

Think big and act small. this is exactly it. I have to realize that all these big ideas are in their reality a combination of millions of tiny pieces. small efforts, writing a bit everyday, studying another vocab word, having one conversation. Things have to happen one at a time, one small piece at a time.
